This fund had been created in honor of the Knarr family, but now is in honor of Jen Knarr who had experienced such severe and devastating postpartum depression that it led to this sudden tragedy. Jen Knarr was a Fish, Wildlife and Parks Game Warden in the Gallatin valley for past 8 years, as well as a member of this community. Per the request of the husband's ex-wife and family, he and the child can no longer be mentioned in this fundraiser and are not interested in obtaining funds from this memorial. 

Our hearts are all shattered to pieces with this tremendous loss. Those that knew Jen, know how huge of a loss this was and how unexpected this whole incident has been for us. May those that knew them feel comfort from the support of our community. May the community also have some increased awareness of the severity and complexity of the disease Postpartum Depression.  

This money will be used for funeral expenses and to increase awareness of this disease. Any excess funds will be used for a scholarship fund for children of game wardens in Montana. This was a dream of Jen's after the loss of her grandfather this past year and a half.
