As most of you know, I was involved in a really bad car accident on April 17, 2021. While on the way to church to help fix a few things, I was hit head on by a drunk driver. Little did I know how much my life would change. 2 weeks later I woke up in the hospital with a broken arm, a broken leg, fractured both feet, fractured jaw, a pseudo aneurism, a shredded abdominal wall, an intestinal fistula, 3 hernias, and a damaged colon.

My family and I have been fortunate enough and blessed beyond measure to be able to get this far. After a dozen or more surgeries, I am alive, and I give God all the glory. It’s definitely been a really rough road. I’m not usually one to put things out there, but because of constant daily pain, complications, and exhaustion, I have not been able to work. On top of that, copays, medical bills, and medicine… it’s beginning to add up. Unfortunately the individual who hit me had little to no insurance. We’re at the end of our rope, and this husband/father has to swallow his pride and ask for your help.

The battle is definitely not over, just today, November 28th, I was referred to a specialist for abdominal wall, hernia, and reconstructive surgery. Due to the complexity of my case, unfortunately I have to wait a little longer, and continue to let my body heal.
