Most of you have known Jenifer Reynolds from behind the mic covering Reining and horse show events for many many years. Others may have seen her on TV as Mrs. "Discover Oklahoma" or as a news anchor and journalist on Oklahoma City's CBS affiliate Channel 9.
We have come to know and love Jenifer, her husband Chris Cook and the whole family over the years, having been part of the NRHA and the NRHA "Inside Reining" TV show and currently the "Horse of the West" TV show and we are very proud to call them friends.
During the NRHA Futurity last November we learned that Jenifer was diagnosed with kidney cancer. This came as a huge shock to all of us who know Jenifer and her family. At the NRBC this past April Chris informed us that the cancer had returned after an initial surgery at the end of last year.
Jenifer is the most upbeat, positive and loving person you will ever meet and for her and her family to have to go through this ordeal is saddening. We would like to help Jenifer and Chris and their family with the immense medical costs involved during this difficult journey. Insurance coverage unfortunately only goes so far and most patients are left with stacks of bills.
Our goal is to raise money to help with their bills and life's expenses.
