Jenifer Brown to Colombia, South America

Hello! My name is Jenifer Brown. I wanted to first share 2 fun facts about myself. The first, is that I'm a twin! The second, is that I just graduated from my 2nd year at a ministry school called Global School of Supernatural Ministry. Now, I get the honor to be a 3rd year student and do an internship in Columbia, South America! In the next few paragraphs, I will be explaining who I will be interning with, why and what I will be doing, how the money will be spent, how soon I need the funds, and last but not least how this benefits you!
I will be a missionary intern for 6-12 months with a missions organization called 911 ministries with Jennifer and Thomas Atwater's in Medellin, Columbia. Jennifer and Thomas have been in Columbia since 2011, changing the lives of many families, especially women and children. 911 ministries is a ministry that focuses on helping restore vulnerable children, women, and families through the love of a perfect Father. They do that by offering bilingual programs, such as discipleship, education and mentorship. These programs help people to find what God's purpose is for their lives.
When I got to meet Jennifer and Thomas Atwater and heard their hearts, I knew that this was something I wanted to be apart of. My heart was first really drawn to wanting to be a missionary, when I attended YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and went to the Middle East. Seeing people encounter Jesus in another country was life changing to me. With that, I'm super honored to be apart of this beautiful organization and have the opportunity to see women become fully who God created them to be.
My role and responsibilities as an intern will be, being apart of staff, assisting and leading programs and functions at 911. Specifically at the youth center, worship room, and mom's programs. Along with, spending nights at a house called the Hope House, when it is up and running. Which is a full-time care program to rescue mother's and children in really vulnerable situations. I will also get the opportunity to be apart of a local church to serve them and build them up.
I will be a full-time volunteer missionary intern, which means I will not getting paid while I am there. That is where fundraising comes in :). I will need funds for food, health insurance, phone plan, personal and miscellaneous things, unexpected things, and rent when I stay with a columbian family for the first couple of months. The reason it says I will be there for 6 to 12 months at the top is because 6 months is the minimum time my school requires for me to be there. However, if I really like it I can extend it to 12 months. With that being said, I want to be prepared for if I do decide to stay 12 months. I will need the funds by the beginning of September.
How can this benefit you? 84% of children in Columbia are born to single-mother's. I wanna invite you to have the opportunity to be apart of seeing a whole family restored! Where women are finding God's purpose for their lives and their children.
Your support and prayer means so much to me! I truly truly thank you for taking time to read this and giving if you feel led!!
I will attach 911 ministries website, if you would like more information or want to watch any of their videos! Again, thank you so much!
Love, Jen Here is their website
