Support Jen Carl as she Recovers from a Bike Crash

On August 13th our dear friend Jen was in a bike crash, dislocating her knee and breaking her leg, requiring major surgery. Since then she has been at GW hospital. She will not be able to put weight on her leg again for several months. Jen had already been looking for a new job before this accident, but recovery is going to be her full-time job, and it doesn’t pay the bills. Quite the opposite (thanks US healthcare!) Jen's mom Julie is also dealing with a health crisis of her own,  undergoing treatment for cancer as well. Now that they are both sick Jen and Julie having to lean on others where they would normally have each other. It's still unclear what medical bills insurance will cover and then there are living expenses to consider, such as food, rent and of course care of her furbaby, Willow the cat. Jen is in good spirits, resilient and snarky as ever,  giving tarot reading and cuddling with therapy dogs. We know a lot of people care about Jen will want to show their love and support at this time. No gift is too small (or too big ;) ). Thank you for helping us help Jen!
