Family Fights Incurable Disorder

Donation protected
With my daughter starting a new chemo treatment any day now, her family is excited but has also suffered a toll by the never ending visits to the hospital.
Dallan and Jena are at U.C Davis from 8am-1:30pm, Monday threw Friday where they perform a plasma treatment on Jena to help sustain her platelet count. This treatment has helped her stay alive but at a cost to her family.
Dallan has had to miss work in order to take care of Jena in the hospital never leaving her side threw the surgeries and treatments. This has caused them a hardship being a new and one income family. Many of you have asked if you could donate to help the family get threw this thought and confusing time so we started a go fund me account to reach you all.

TTP also known as Thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura is a very rare blood disorder with 6 cases per million, per year with no cure only treatments that help put this terrible disorder in remission.

When Jena was dignosed she suffered a TTP stroke while breastfeeding her daughter. The right side of her face drooped and the right side of her body went completely numb as dallan rushed her to Lodi memorial. There they would soon run test and find out her platelet levels were at an alarming 13,000 when the normal count for a person is 300,000-400,000 and they rushed her to U.C Davis were they would perform 2 surgeries on her and many transfusions. After about 12 days she would be released but have to come back almost daily to have transfusions...we soon found out her body was not accepting them and the next step was to be taken...chemo. Until then Jena will continue her transfusions. She is going past her 25th treatment tomorrow.

The new chemo treatment is supposed to help shock her body and hopefully send her into remission. Jena and dallan would want nothing more than to be able to be at home with their 8 month old daughter and for Jena to be able to take care of her Lily on her own rather than having to have someone watch the both of them.

Thank you all for reading and thank you to those who have already went out of your way to donate to their little family in the time of need. For those who wanted to donate in person or with gas cards you are more than welcome to. Anything helps including prayers. Thank you again.

Special thanks to those who have showered Lily with love and opened their home to watch her. We all greatly appreciate it.
