Jena Lucas MELAS fund

Hi my name is Colton Lucas, I am jenas brother and I am raising funds for my sister Jena Lucas to help cover her medical expenses as well as day to day needs. Jena woke up on 6/8/22 feeling normal and through out the day felt disoriented and using her motor skills, upon entering the hospital that Wednesday night doctors were not sure what was causing these symptoms. Many test were ran and a CT scan was done showing inflammation in the left hemisphere of her brain, calling for doctors to send her off to St. Louis university hospital to run additional test and labs to try and figure out what was causing this inflammation. As of 6/11/22 doctors have determined she is suffering from a rare disease called MELAS syndrome. Jena has been released from the hospital on 6/21/22 but will have to go through extensive physical therapy and have to deal with certain symptoms in her everyday life.

i am raising this money to help with Jena and nicks hospital bill and to support her on going battle and is a surprise for them.
