Next summer, I am undertaking a huge conservation trip through Operation Wallacea to the remote rainforests of Indonesia. Working alongside locals conducting research on its largely previously unstudied diverse range of unique fauna and flora, I will be collecting data and surveying forest health.

After a week spent within the terrestrial region, I will be taking an open water scuba diving (PADI) course off an island in the centre of the coral triangle where I will be studying reef ecology. This will be an incredible personal challenge post-surgery, and a major goal in my recovery going forward.
