Welcome to the GoFundMe campaign to support my best friend and sister, Jen Bahn as she beats Breast Cancer!
As many of you may know, running out of soap in the shower on March 14th, 2019 forever changed the lives of my sister and her loving family (Husband Cullen and three beautiful children Avery 11, Harper 7, and Beckett 4) as well as all of us who are fortunate enough to call her daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, friend, teacher, co-worker…and the list goes on. After discovering a lump and quickly going to the doctor, the words we all dread hearing, CANCER, specifically Invasive Ductile Carcinoma Breast Cancer, was confirmed. Since that day, it has been a roller-coaster of emotions, appointments, planning, and waiting as she prepares to embark on the road to kicking cancers butt.
So many of you have asked us how you can help and the outpouring of love and support for my sister and her family has been amazing. Your kind words, food, gifts, and prayers have been extremely comforting. The road ahead will not be easy but my sister is a fighter and we know she will conquer this ugly disease. However, the financial realities of this battle are real. Lost work and lost income along with medical bills and related expenses are not something any of us plan for, especially such a young family.
Battling cancer is hard enough, it should never come with financial stress as well. My sister never wants to burden anybody. She goes out of her way to always lift others up and would do anything to help somebody in need. Now, it is my turn, with your help, to relieve some stress of this battle so my sister and her tribe can focus solely on healing and winning! So with some convincing, my sister and Cullen have allowed me to start this GoFundMe campaign to lift some worries off their shoulders and allow Jen to concentrate on healing and winning. Thanks for your love, prayers, and support. Let's do this thing!
