Jen Wright White

This weekend we lost an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, and friend.

Jen was unobtrusively caring. She was known for caring that was quiet. She'd just start dishes after a family meal, or pick up someone's favorite dessert. She'd offer simple advice - best parking lots or even towels that would last after washing them a million times.

She wasn't always quiet - anyone who had joined her for a night out would see a whole different side of Jen.

As a special education teacher she touched the lives of so many young people.

She was devoted to Riley and Joey. She was a chauffeur for countless miles and their biggest fan for all of their sports - soccer, baseball, Irish dance, lacrosse, and any that they wanted to try out for a season or two.

Jen was a woman who revered her privacy. She didn't want to bother anyone or have them pity her. Most people weren't aware that Jen was fighting cancer. She was winning that battle until complications took her from us tragically and unexpectedly.

Jen leaves behind a hole in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her, but no more so than her husband and two children.

We are sad to think about a future without her, but would like to ensure her children will have to worry less about financial security as they grieve and learn to live without their mom.
