Jen West Medical Surgery Fund
Hi- My name is Marianne Fields and I have a beautiful friend in need of some help. Her name is Jennifer Westrom and many of her friends and fans know her as Jen West. She is one of the kindest most giving people I have ever met, and a certified badass when it comes to strength.
What many people know about Jen is her heart, her quick wit and her kindness. What most people don't know is that she has been in chronic pain for over 20 years. A surgery in her teens for a sporting injury in her leg left her with two pieces of metal in her femur. Unknown at the time, Jennifer's body is allergic to metal and has been fighting against her every step of the way. The femur grew around the metal and numerous surgeons have denied her request to remove it although it causes her excruciating pain, swelling and now the metal toxins are damaging her heart and the rest of her body. The great news is through a surgeon in Vail Colorado has agreed to take on this very complex surgery in hopes of saving her leg and her life. Her surgery is Monday 6.27.21. The bad news is her insurance may not be paying for the majority of it and it will be almost $7K just for the deductible. Then 50% of all costs, and their is just no idea of how much this will be.
Jen has helped so many through her charity "These Lives Matter" and is a proud woman who is the last one to say "I'm in pain" or " I need help"... but she is, and she does. So please for all of you who really ask "How can I help?" or "Let me know what you need"... here it is. She will have a 12-15 week recovery after this surgery and it is financially devastating for her and her family. So here is the ask: Whatever you can spare- $100, $10 or even the sacrifice of a price of a Starbucks. Whatever you can give it will help this beautiful woman. No one deserves to be financially crippled because they need surgery to save their life.
Thank you for reading this and thank you for helping in anyway that you can. We love you Jen West!
