Jen and Saba suffered a great loss over Memorial Day weekend.
They were going to Saba's son Beemnet’s graduation at Middlebury College in Vermont when there was a terrible car accident. Saba’s mother, visiting from Ethiopia, passed away. Jen's mother was injured, breaking her sternum, ribs, and vertebrae in her back. Saba’s sister broke a bone in her neck, and Saba’s other son and her father suffered from chest contusions.
Jen and Saba have incurred extraordinary expenses related to the accident, including mortuary fees, travel costs, and healthcare expenses.
