Jen Needs Us: Facing Cancer's Challenges

I’m starting this to send financial support to my friend. She is in another fight for her life. Everyone is asking what can we do? At this point she needs financial support and prayers. Jen is a warrior and is taking a semester off from work as a teacher to do chemo and stem cell replacement. She doesn’t know if she will be able to return in the fall. The financial burden is hard. Please support her if you can and/or share this. This is the story from the words of my best friend Jen:

In 2009 I was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. I fought it and was in remission for 11 years.

In 2020 it returned, but nothing like previously. Small cancerous tumors in my abdomen near the original site. This is what I have been fighting off and on for the past 4 years. All the chemotherapy has weakened my bone marrow, and my body is not producing white or red blood cells. It's called MDS. Currently I am back at St Luke's receiving fluids, platelets, and blood and chemotherapy. There are treatments and I am hopeful. Right now, it's a waiting game. So, I am going to fight, because that's what I do.
