As the song goes "we get by with a little help from our friends." For the past 12 months, I have been in lock down in South Africa, with no work.

It has been one of the most challenging years of my life. To live abroad while isolated and alone, losing over a years worth of work and struggling to find new work, in the middle of a global pandemic. Along with so many others, I have not had luck finding new contracts and ways to earn money.

Today is my birthday and the time has come where I simply must ask for a bit of help to get by. It is truly a humbling experience to ask for help. I can only hope that I am able to return the favor tenfold to all of you one day.

The money will help me book a return flight back to the US (*when it is safe to travel again), as well as keep me afloat with basic expenses for a few more months.

Please know that I am actively searching for remote contracts, applying to numerous job opportunities, building JenPalmerGlobal.com, and have finally started to write a memoir (*after all, seems to be no shortage of strange and wild stories to tell these days).
