My name is Jennifer Vought. Jen Kirchhoff is my best friend. If you know Jen, you know she would do anything for anyone that needs help. In fact, she sometimes helps people who don’t even need it but always wants to go above and beyond in an effort to ease someone else’s struggles. Well, I’m coming to you today and asking that you help me give back to her. On October 21st, 2022 she found out she had invasive breast cancer at the age of 43. Three years ago in October, she lost her husband suddenly and honestly, it’s been a roller coaster ever since. With many ups and downs, she keeps a smile on her face and continues to help anyone who needs it. She’s my ‘do-or-die’ friend. And like everything else, we are heading into this with her smiling. Today she has a double mastectomy in Des Moines. She has a great job and insurance (thank God) and has short term disability, but it only pays 70% of her salary. She’s a single mom and would never ask for help. So I’m doing it for her. She has already made several trips back and forth to Des Moines and has countless more trips to come. Hotel stays. Many tanks of gas, and food that isn’t covered in her expenses. Please consider helping her out. Let’s bless her beyond measure and pray for a successful surgery and recovery.
