Jen Fluharty Family Fund

Jennifer Fluharty...to hear her name you immediately get a smile on your face and you think of the words good, kind, generous, thoughtful and caring. She had a way of making everyone she met feel comfortable, cared about and important. From her big loving family and circle of friends from the South to her extended family and friends in New Jersey, she was truly loved and treasured by so many.

Unfortunately, the awful disease of cancer quickly and unexpectedly, took our sweet Jennifer away from us way too soon. Without a doubt, she has now become each and every one of our guardian angels and will continue her kindness and goodness by watching over all of us. Craig, Patrick, Madelyn and her family are quietly and privately mourning the loss of their mother and best friend. Although there are no services scheduled at this time, her family plans to have a life celebration in the Spring to honor and celebrate Jen and her beautiful life she shared with us all.

We know that so many of you have reached out and want to help Jen's family in their time of sadness and loss. The most important parts of Jen's life were her two precious children, Patrick and Madelyn and her best friend and husband, Craig. She loved her family with her whole heart and wanted nothing but total happiness for them. Jen also greatly valued education, so much so that she put her heart and soul into teaching her students. She was an incredibly gifted and loving teacher. She and Craig had dreams for Patrick and Madelyn to continue their education after high school. They set up college funds for both of them, but unfortunately Jen can no longer contribute to the accounts. What better way to honor our friend, than to continue her dream by donating money towards Patrick's and Madelyn's future in her honor. Any funds that we raise will be placed directly into their college accounts.
