Jen and Kevin's Emergency Moving Funds

Hi, my name is Jennifer. Two days ago my partner Kevin and I were given notice to vacate our home through no fault of our own. A family member of our landlord needs a place to live and she will be moving into the residence we've called home for the last 13 years. Like many in San Diego, we had fallen on hard times before this news. Now we are in crisis. We have a short amount of time and minimal funds to move. We are getting rid of the majority of our belongings and will only be taking the bare essentials. Kevin will go to NY where he has family, and I will most likely go to a friend's ranch in TX so my 25 year old horse can live out the rest of his days in a pasture and in my care. Kevin and I hope to reunite one day with our feline and canine furbabies. Knowing we will be split up for some time weighs heavily on our hearts, and the lack of funds to cover moving expenses- and living expenses once we move- has been a great source of stress. Donations received will go towards car tune ups and repairs in preparation for the drives to NY and TX, uhaul trailer rentals, gas, hotel stays, food, prepping my horse for shipping (vet check up, vaccinations, Coggins), horse hauling costs, and a little money to cover our living expenses once we reach our destinations. It is with difficulty that we ask for assistance. Every contribution is helpful. Kevin spent 25 years building and renovating homes and businesses in San Diego. I spent 18 years in this city assisting people with pain management, stress relief, and injury rehabilitation through yoga and massage. We have enjoyed serving the San Diego community and will miss it greatly. Thank you.
