Jellybean the Canine Advocate

Hi, I’m Jellybean! I love helping kids who have, unfortunately, become victims of crime. It’s my job! When a kid has to testify in court against someone who hurt them, it can be scary. I sit right by their side on the witness stand so they don’t have to feel so afraid.

Alas, I’ve become very sick even though I’m only two years old. My kidneys aren’t working quite right and now I have to go into the hospital!

I trained really hard to be good at my job and am the only canine advocate at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in Detroit, Michigan. It’s important that I go back to helping kids as soon as possible.

That’s why I need your help. We are raising money for my vet bills so that I can get back to work. If more money is raised than I need, then that money will go to Canine Advocates in Michigan so dogs like me can help other communities.

Jellybean is home and continuing treatment. Her energy is up and she’s happy to be home. The cats were not as happy.
