Hello friends, first I would like to thank everyone who always shows me love and allows me to continue to inspire you!! Now it's my time to come to you for inspiration! I have had the pleasure of raising a 10 year old young gentleman who's smart, sweet, loving and so funny. He puts a smile on my face even when I'm sad. He keeps me living and gives me the motivation and strength to continue my journey in life.
He is a Gifted student in the Pittsburgh Punblic School system and has ben accepted to 2 elite, private schools: Winchester Thurston and Shadyside Academy. As you know, private schools cost money. Being a single parent and entrepreneur is not easy, as my women know. Being a small business owner, things add up! People see me as a strong woman with a business and money. I have been extremely blessed to have had a successful business for many years, and ups and downs always occur. I have been wrestling with the idea of asking for help or doing some type of fundraiser because of what people may think or say. I have no pride though when it comes to making sure my son has the best education possible, and he earned it honestly and diligently. Seven years ago I lost my first child Trevor James Greer to violence in the Pittsburgh streets and I will be sure, by any means necessary, to save my other son, Jelani N. Saunders, from the same violence and pain that has changed my life forever.
So I am asking for your assistance in donating to my child's education. I'm not only asking for donations, but I am willing to give back to those who have helped in this journey! I am willing to give to anyone who donates an amount of at least $5.00 a gift card for 10 .00 off any service at my salon, The Trevor James Experience located at 519 East Ohio Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
Funds are needed expeditiously. I did apply for financial aid but we are on the wait list. I will do everything in my power to ensure and secure my sons education.

Donations can also be dropped off at The Trevor James Experience at the address listed above. Gift cards can also be redeemed at the salon. This will also give me an opportunity to meet my Facebook and Instagram followers in person.
