Hi. My name is Abraham Martinez. On December 26, 2023, I had an accident on my ATV. Little did I know minutes before I was going to ride something in me said to share my location with my girlfriend Destinee in case anything happened to me. Making sure if she didn't hear from me within a couple of hours, she was aware something had happened to me. At this point, I was laying on the floor for about 4 hours, having no access to my phone to call anyone for help. A couple of hours later, my girlfriend noticed my location wouldn't change, and at this point, she arrived. Seeing me on the floor helpless, she called the paramedics, and as bad as they saw my conditon, I had to be airlifted to the closest hospital, being too far for me to go on an ambulance. All I wanted at this point was to call my dad and tell Him that I loved Him. I went into surgery for a broken neck, which caused me to lose my

ability to move my arms and legs , and I am now 3 weeks into my recovery. Slowly but surely, I will recover and be back to myself. Thank you for being part of my journey.
