Jeffy’s Road to Recovery

On Saturday 8/29, Jeff Benavides and Melanie were involved in a scooter accident on Main Street. We are fortunate that Melanie is okay, but unfortunately Jeffy sustained serious injuries. He is currently in a medically induced coma up at Froedert. It was confirmed on Sunday evening that he did break every single bone in his face and forehead. His pressure levels in his brain are being monitored closely, and are right where they should be currently so we are very fortunate for that. At this point, he will not be getting woken up from his coma until after his reconstructive facial surgery and contingent all continues in the right direction. 

The Benavides family is never one to ask for help, but they sure would help any single person that ever needs it. Jeffy, Melanie, and Jasmyne are going to need the community’s help now more than ever so please keep the prayers and thoughts coming. Any help is so appreciated, and we will keep the updates coming.
