My name is Sara Smith, I am 18 years old and am attending my first year of college, pursuing a career in Writing & Rhetoric.

My father, Jeff Smith, was recently diagnosed with stage III esophageal cancer. My dad is a devoted father to my younger brother Christopher and I, as well as a loving husband to our mother.

He is currently going through chemotherapy and radiation therapy and will continue to do so for six weeks. Following these treatments, he will require surgery to remove the remaining cancer.

My dad is a self-employed graphic designer and is the primary earner of our household. Donations will be needed to cover his medical expenses as well as some living expenses as he will not be able to work during his recuperation.

Any donation would be grateful as I would like to be able to continue my education as well as know my family can live comfortably despite the recent challenge we face.
