Jeff's Medical Recovery

Hello,

As a mother, sharing my son's story is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. My son, Jeff, has been fighting the devastating after-effects of COVID-19, which he contracted in 2021, along with a recent diagnosis of End Stage Renal Disease.

Jeff's journey since his COVID-19 diagnosis has been filled with pain and struggle. He has been in and out of the hospital due to long-COVID complications, needed multiple blood transfusions, and is undergoing a tough routine of hemodialysis three times a week. He faces each day with courage, inspiring those around him, including myself.

Our lives took a heartbreaking turn on June 11th, a day meant for celebration—Jeff's son's 16th birthday. During the dinner, my son suffered a massive stroke. He is currently in the intensive care unit at Northside Gwinnett Hospital in Georgia, once again showing his strength in the face of this devastating health crisis.

The growing medical bills, ongoing treatment costs, and sudden loss of income have created a severe financial burden. As his mother, it breaks my heart to see my son battle these health challenges and struggle with financial difficulties.

That's why, as his mother and with the support of our community, we're starting this GoFundMe. We're hoping to ease some of the financial pressure Jeff is facing. The funds raised will go directly toward covering his medical costs, dialysis treatments, and rehabilitation services during these challenging times.
