Many of you will remember Jeff from our last fundraiser in 2020. In June 2019, my brother Jeff suffered a catastrophic stroke that left him with Locked In Syndrome, a condition where he is fully conscious but unable to move or speak.

Thanks to your incredible generosity back then, we raised enough within just 24 hours to purchase a muscle stimulating bike and, beyond that, a standing frame both of which have been absolutely vital to Jeff’s recovery. As a family, and especially Jeff, we were overwhelmed by the love and support we received. It made a real difference.

Now, I’m reaching out again to share an update and to ask for your help once more.

Over the past five years, Jeff has made remarkable progress. Despite the odds, he continues to get stronger every single day. But while he fights, the NHS has effectively given up on his recovery and offers no ongoing support. Jeff now relies entirely on private rehabilitation, working twice a week with the incredible Linda Wilde. The improvements he experiences from each session with her are nothing short of amazing.

We believe Jeff still has so much more potential to unlock especially in regaining his voice and further movement. But to make that next big leap, we need your help.

This is the final push. If you're in a position to contribute no matter how big or small your support could help Jeff reach the next stage in his recovery journey. He hasn’t given up. And neither have we.
