Jeff's CVICU Expenses

Hello, my name is Lauren. On Saturday, January 20th, 2024, I almost lost my dad, Jeff Ervin, to a massive heart attack. Against all odds, he survived and is now in recovery. During this ordeal, he underwent two Cath Lab procedures, spent 6 days in the ICU, stayed on life support for 4 days, and they have since moved him to an ICU Step-Down unit. Currently, we are unsure of when he will be discharged to go home, and we anticipate a very long road ahead.

The funds raised for Jeff will go toward all of his medical expenses. UPDATE: On Tuesday, January 30th, Jeff was discharged from UC Hospital in Clifton. 3 hours later he was taken back to the hospital due to complications caused by Plavix. He underwent a third cath lab procedure, where a balloon catheter was used to clear a blood clot that had formed around his stents and where an artificial heart device was implanted again. Jeff was transferred back to UC Clifton, where he is staying in the CVICU, again. Open heart surgery is currently being considered as an option.
