****Update Tuesday November 1. Thank you everyone for all your donations. Many of his friends that I spoke to today including Jeffrey's brother, Bill are truly humbled. Today he took his last breath about 1:09 PM. It was a peaceful transition and he did not suffer. Please know that every single donation will go to honor Jeffrey and we will keep in touch for any memorial that will be done. Hi, I am starting this crowdfunding on behalf of several of Jeffrey Brock's friends.
On Wednesday, October 26, Jeffrey suffered a brain hemorrage on the left side of his brain and was rushed to Baptist Hospital. The doctors have had him on life support since then. Today, October 28, the bleeding has progressed to the other side of the brain and there is no hope for revivival or surgery.
Jeffrey had a will which he wished to not be continued on life support in a situation such as this. So in a few days on Monday or Tuesday, October 31, or November 1, Raji Rajeswari, his health care surrogate named in his will have to make the difficult decision to disconnect Jeffrey from life support.
In his will, Jeffrey wanted his ashes to be scattered in the Ganges river in India.
If you knew Jeffrey, he lived a very humble and simple life who contributed his brilliance in Astrology for many decades in South Florida. I always called him the "magician." If you knew him, I am sure you have many beautiful stories.
Unfortunately, there are no funds for a proper cremation service and we would like to honor his wishes. Raji, who is from India, will scatter his ashes if funds are available. That is why we are asking for $5000 in this Go Fund Me. It will be for the cremation services plus the travel expenses of Raji to scatter his ashes and any medical expenses. At the least , we are asking for any contributions for his cremation services which is less than the $5000. Any thing additional will be to honor his wishes.
We appreciate any help you can give even if it is just $5.
