Jeffrey needs help! Save this lovely duck.

Hi, I'm Yas and this here is Prince Jeffrey. We named him that because I want him to be treated like royalty after what he has been through...

Jeffrey was dumped into a lake with a female duck and a duckling - his family. He was spotted by animal rescue volunteers who bravely rescued him and brought him to the wildlife shelter I work at. We were able to assess him and give him a good feed and run some basic tests at the shelter, but we can't do surgery on site.

He is horrifically thin, and suffering with a disease that he has picked up from the lake, making him unable to absorb any nutrients from the scraps or handouts he was able to find. He also has a terribly broken wing and sadly it's not a new injury. The wing is badly damaged and infected, going dead. He needs surgery to remove the wing and treat his disease if he is to live.

I have found a wonderful vet clinic to treat this boy and remove the dead wing so he can live a happy, pain free life. All it comes down to us whether the community can help fund his procedures.
