Hi Family & Friends:
As many of you are aware, our son, Jeffrey, was a passenger in vehicle that was in a terrible car accident at 12:30 in the morning on New Year’s day while traveling home from a gathering at a friends home.
Jeffrey endured several injuries including a broken right Fibula that has been casted, shattered his right Femur that required surgery (rod, plates and 6 screws), several spinal fractures and bulging discs, (that are inoperable at the moment) from L1-L5 - causing him to wear a back brace while we wait to see how the small fractures heal before exploring future surgery, left shoulder fracture and frontal lobe fracture as well as several lacerations and contusions.
He spent a total of 20 days in Morristown Memorial going from the Trauma Unit, ICU and and then the Orthopedic Trauma Floor and continued his care at Kessler In-Patient Acute Rehabilitation Center.
He will continue his recovery at home and will have both in-home and out-patient Physical & Occupational Therapy.
His journey both mentally & physically will be a long and hard road.
Many of our Family & Friends have asked what they can do to help Jeffrey during this difficult time and as of today, he could use prayers and help with on-going expenses as he will be unable to work as a Waiter or Production Assistant for quite some time.
Any funds raised will help cover on-going expenses and loss of income throughout the recovery process.
Please feel free to forward this to Family & Friends but please DO NOT post this on any social media sites.
Thank you for your generosity and support, and please keep Jeffrey in your thoughts and prayers!
With Gratitude,
Jeffrey’s Family
