On March 17, 2018 livery cab driver Jeffrey Cisnero Camacho was dispatched by Excellent car service to pick up fare headed to Morrison Ave. near 172nd street in the Soundview section of the Bronx. Around 12:45 once they arrived at the location the man pulled out a gun, told. Jeffrey he was robbing him and ultimately ended up shooting Jeffrey several times.
Like most of you already know taxi drivers are owner operators and only make money to support their families if they work. Workers compensation is not an option to support Jeffrey, his wife and his 3 daughters ages 7,4 and 2.
The New York State Federation Of Taxi Drivers is seeking the help of anyone who can donate any amount of money to this family so that Jeffrey and his family can make it financially through this difficult time.
