Jeffrey; Bilateral Mandibular Lip Avulsion
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Erica but more importantly, my kitten's name is Jeffrey.
I have recently moved to the area and am not quite sure what to do. I came out here for an opportunity that provided me a very good deal on housing but not much for income.
Late this morning, I came home to find my grandmothers mirror, which was about 15 pounds on the ground and a blood trail to my room. I walked in to find my four month old kitten shocked and covered in blood under my clothes rack. I couldn't say exactly what happened but from the looks of it, he climbed up the side of the mirror, which then was yanked off the wall, and landed on top of him.
I immediately brought him over to OakVet, who are always very friendly, but unfortunately, quoted me an estimate I cannot afford at this time. Total is $1,722.29 to $1,966.09
Due to my finances, I do not qualify for CareCredit or ScratchPay but am actively looking for a more affordable clinic.
He has a bilateral mandibular lip avulsion.
I’ve been calling clinics off the list they gave me but I’m not having any luck. I don’t want to post graphic photos and disturb anyone but it’s so important I find some help soon for him.
He’s the sweetest thing on this earth and I don’t know how to help him. I am just so glad that nothing is broken... I have already gotten rid of the mirror and taken everything that could be a potential threat to his safety and hidden it until I can donate it. I am including the estimate provided by the vet for a breakdown of the services he requires. Anything and everything will go directly to his care. I appreciate any help we receive.
