Jeff Messano Disaster relief fund Haines Alaska

My name is Jeff Messano.  My house is located on 577 Beach road.  Brown house, green roof to the right of the landslide.  I am out of town at the moment and getting new information daily on the status of my home * update 12/5/20: This is what was heard from the fire department rep: With drone pictures what has been observed: 8 feet of debris is piled up against the side of my house. But it appears the house has not slid off of its foundation. My shed might still be there. The status of my car and motorcycle and my roommates cars is still unknown. The house does not appear to be moving. I , unlike most people on Beach Road maybe able to enter my home and salvage what I can in a few weeks or less. This is terrific news! I do not know what the integrity of the house is of course. I also do not know the condition of the house on the inside. My roommate was in it when it flooded, due to the earth moving. But I am hopeful. I will only update from now on from official sources as I do not want my integrity challenged. The rest of the post is still valid: My ex wife and our son are safe in Juneau. I am safe working in remote Alaska. My two roommates are safe as well. Safeco insurance has denied my claim. Insurance will be no help to any of us and that is why I am reaching out to the public for help. My neighbors home was in the path of the landslide and is gone or buried. Two people are missing from that home. Please post on any social media platforms that you have. Thank you for anything  you can do, including prayers.  - Jeff
