Monument/Headstone for Jeff Green

My father is Jeff Green (age 52) from Leicester/Spring Creek, NC. He passed away tragically and unexpectedly on Thanksgiving 2014 leaving me, his daughter, Jennifer Green and other family members and friends completely devastated. He was preceded in death by his soul mate of 14 years, Vickie Goforth after her 6 month battle with pancreatitis in January 2014. Jeff was an outdoorsman and lived to hunt, fish and trap. He was a hard working, kind hearted, gentle man who would give anyone the shirt off his back if they needed it or even give his last dollar. He thought the world of his family and had several special friends that meant the world to him also. Most people around Leicester and Spring Creek knew him well, there were not many people that did not know Jeff and know that he always had a smile on his face. He was seen all over Leicester during the spring and summer months contract mowing for the state on the sides of the roads in that big blue tractor.

I am Jennifer, I am Jeff's only daughter. I am the person over my dad's estate and finances, he did have a life insurance policy but the policy was not active long enough to pay out for his funeral expenses. With the help of family and very special friends I was able to pay off his funeral, but I am now left with trying to pay for his headstone/monument. I was hoping to be able to make payments but the requirement is to pay half down when ordered and half when the stone gets placed. I am currently working two jobs, trying to come up with the extra money but that is hard to do with everyday bills, as most of you know. I want people to be able to go to his gravesite and there be a headstone/monument that represents him perfectly and allows people to visit and remember the amazing man my dad was. The shock of him being gone will never go away and I will never get used to him being gone, but my dad deserves the absolute best because he gave the best of himself to everyone else. I know that times are hard for everyone right now but every little bit helps.
