Hello!  On August 30, 2015, Jeff and Breanne Garbiso were traveling home after a morning outing on his motorcycle when a car pulled out in front of them.  The driver, fleeing the scene, left both of them with life-threatening, life-altering injuries.  Breanne sustained a minor concussion, broken hand, broken knee, and extensive road rash.  Jeff, however, receive the brunt of the collision, culminating when the car stopped ON TOP of him.  He sustained several compound fractures of his right leg, minor concussion, road rash, ELEVEN broken ribs (several with multiple breaks), and both lungs were punctured, one to the point of collapse.  Despite this, he has made remarkable progress in the first couple days: being moved from the ICU, having one of his two drainage tubes removed from his chest, pain meds starting to be reduced, and walking several steps twice a day (with walking support and assistance.)
  Now, though, he and Breanne need to address mounting monetary issues that are accumulating, as happens to so many others in this situation.  They are a family of five, with Jeff working two seasonal construction jobs, and Breanne a full time factory worker.  Both require extensive physical therapy, and Jeff is expected to need 3 months at a minimum to be able to walk again without more than a cane or walker.  The motorcycle, which is totalled, was his regular mode of transportation.  This GoFundME project is intended to help pay for their immediate costs to support them and their three boys for the next six months of rent, food, utilities and mounting medical costs/bills.  Your support is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your time and letting us relate their story to you.
