Hi everyone. It’s with a heavy and sad heart to say that my brother Jeffery Staten at 35 years old has passed away unexpectedly. In the blink of an eye a lot of lives were changed due to this loss. As some may know we lost our brother Daniel Staten at 34 years old. 3 short years later, Jeff has followed his big brother home to the arms of Jesus. Jeffery was a loving father of 2 beautiful children 13, and 7, and left behind many many friends and family who loved Jeff dearly. Although we reside in Tennessee, our hope is to bury him next to his big brother in San Diego, California. With sadness, humility and faith we are making this gofundme to help with the funeral costs, and funds to help provide for his two children etc. Not only does this leave us heartbroken but also places us with financial burdens. Our hope is to honor Jeff with a funeral service and would love your help to be able to do so. We are so grateful to all who donates helps and simply just sends their love. And most importantly their prayers. Thank you. Although some have so many questions, My prayer is that no matter how this happened, where it happened, when it happened, or why it happened, the only thing that matters is that we come to accept the truth in this life, and that’s the importance of your salvation. Your relationship with God. Your pursuit of Jesus. And in the end, God takes what belongs to him. And that’s your soul ️ Does your soul belong to God?
I know Jeff’s did. So rejoice!
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:9-10
And just like that. Your soul now belongs to God. You have a home an eternal home in the kingdom of God where your soul one day will live forever.
