MOVE MOUNTAINS FOR JEFFREY!

Job 23:10 But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.
Asking for help for my brother who, by Gods Grace, has triumphed through a grueling 15 hour major brain surgery at the age of 27! This is the story of Jeffery and Emily and about what happens next. Their story started out as love, marriage, their first house and now triumphing over brain surgery with a baby due in 6 months. Their story is about hope, love, sadness, triumph and their future. They show how real people have to confront and deal with what were once unimaginable challenges. I hope their story provides inspiration and shows the importance of families working together as we have with Jeffery on his journey of hope and love and what lies ahead.
On 10/19/2017 Jeffery was once again struggling to function first thing in the morning with a massive headache. Fortunately on this day we were able to get his primary care physician to schedule an emergent MRI for that same day all the while thinking that his issue was nothing more than a pinched nerve or muscles spasms. Later that evening at his 7pm MRI appointment Jeffrey along with our mother was informed that he was unable to leave and needed to be seen by the ER physicians at Park Ridge, only to later be transferred to Mission Hospital due to Park Ridge Hospitals inability to care for neuro trauma patients. Once transferred to Mission, we were told that he had massive swelling in his brain due to a brain stem tumor and he needed an emergent procedure to relieve the pressure in his brain. For four days they relieved some of the pressure from his brain to prepare him for brain surgery on 10/23/2017. After 15 hours of an egregious and intricate lifesaving brain surgery, Jeffrey fought with strength and with a covenant of prayers from our precious family and friends. Nobody expects a brain tumor will enter their life. Having said all that we would like Jeffery and Emily not to have the burden of having to worry about the other things that came with this tragic unexpected situation. I am asking for our family to help us take some of this burden off of them so they can focus on getting him better and preparing for their new wonderful bundle of joy in May.
With all that being said we would like for anyone who can to please help us take the burden of hospital bills and every day simple things we all take for granted not be something they have to worry about. Jeffery and Emily would not ask for help unless it was last resort. To keep them mentally and emotionally strong we would like to ask anyone to help take care of a lot if accumulating hospital bills, so Jeffery can concentrate on getting better and not have more burdens on him than he needs at this critical time. Anything given will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this and we always welcome prayers!
