Hailing from a musical family, it's no surprise that these brothers have both found success traveling the world, bringing music to the masses. Jeff Jones has been writing and performing music professionally for the past 18 years and has made a name for himself across the globe. With three studio albums under his belt, he has built a rock solid following in the US and Europe where he can be found touring regularly. Jake Jones writes and plays guitar for the rock band We As Human on Atlantic Records as well as produces and writes for countless other artists covering the gambit of genres. Now, for the first time in their careers and lives, Jeff and Jake Jones are taking their diverse talents, tastes, and flavors to the threshing floor to create a truly unique project that will have your grandmama kicking up her heels and doing the Carlton. When these two creative whirlwinds collide, brace yourselves for a musical storm that will make Sharknado seem like the swirling dish water draining out of your kitchen sink.
This acoustic EP will be 5 to 7 songs made up of two originals and a few cover tunes done right. Here's where you get to have some fun and help bring this work of art to life. Everyone who contributes will receive a copy of the EP simply for being awesome. It doesn't stop there, however, because YOU will be the ones helping to decide which tunes get covered. That's right! When you send any amount, we want you to add a note telling us what song(s) you would like to hear us record. You're funding it, so YOU get to pick! Each contributor will also have his or her name mentioned on the back of the EP as a token of gratitued for your generosity. Anyone who contributes over $500 will get a phone call and a personal thank you for helping make this happen.
Where will your money go?
The proceeds will be used to cover studio fees, production costs, travel expenses, CD mastering and duplication, and promotion. We want this EP to sound better than crackling bacon and look slicker than Justin Timberlake in 1999 .
