Jeff (My Dad’s) Burial

As most of you know, my father passed away very unexpectedly on July 5th at the age of 59. None of us were prepared for this emotionally or financially, and, as a family, we've had difficulty covering the costs of ensuring his burial. Losing my Dad literally broke my heart. All I could think of was I will never hear his voice again; I will never pick up the phone and hear him say, "Hey baby girl", I will never feel his embrace, and I will never hear another fishing story. But the most difficult thing I've ever had to do in my life, is get quotes from funeral homes to bury my Dad. Unfortunately, because his death was so unexpected, the costs of his burial have fallen into the laps of my Dad's sister and I. Whether you donate $5 or $50, every dollar and share help. But please, if you're reading this, call your parents and tell them you love them. Talk about anything and everything. This experience has changed my life. I thought I had at least 20 more years to make memories with my Dad, but God had a different plan. Time is not promised and cannot be bought.
