Jeff Walker's Busted Knee

In Jeff's transition to his new job as Executive Director for the Beacon, there was a gap in his health insurance. On Saturday (May 30th), Jeff had the misfortune of rupturing his patellar tendon. This injury cannot heal on its own, so Jeff must pay out of pocket for the surgery. All said and done, it looks like the surgery will cost him about $10,000.
