Jeff Stone's Memorial

Hi everyone.

On August 4th, we lost a dear friend and colleague. Many of you who knew Jeff felt his immediate warmth and kindness. Social media posts about Jeff's passing are filled with accounts about him literally giving the shirt off his back to anyone. He is repeatedly described as one of the best friends a person could have. That’s how we experienced Jeff at his workplace, Sana Biotechnology. From sending flowers to a colleague’s young daughter after hearing that she had injured herself, to being that friend who always checked in on others when one was having a bad day despite battling his own illness in silence. That was Jeff. As a colleague said, ‘Jeff’s light burned so bright.. decent, funny, fun, always positive, solid and so thoughtful. He had a huge impact on life and the people around him’. I can’t begin to over-emphasize Jeff’s kind hearted-nature. He truly was a special human, with such a rare gift for connecting with everyone, and we will miss him dearly.

We'd like to raise some funds to help the family with whatever they need in the coming days and months. Many of us cannot attend his memorial service, so perhaps this can be a way to say goodbye to Jeff and support his family.
