Jeff Rhoads after-life and funeral fund

Hi, my name is Dave Rhoads, and I am raising funds to help Jeff and Mandy Rhoads in this time of crisis. My brother Jeff is that guy, you know the one that would give you the shirt off of his back and last dollar if he seen that you had a need. I believe that if you know him, you probably know a story or are a part of a story where he gave more than he had with no care about what it cost him. My brother Jeff has had a rough go in life over the last several years. He is a diesel mechanic by trade as he was the sibling that followed in our fathers footsteps, but he was not limited to one type of work. However a few years ago he started getting sores all over his arms and various places around his body. Come to find out he is allergic to the chemicals in diesel, grease, and other oils, so he just moved on to other things like building decks and pouring concrete only to find out that he is allergic to pine and chemicals in concrete. Jeff applied for SSI and wouldn’t you know years have gone by and they still have not approved it. A few months ago he noticed an occasional twitching of his hand that got worse in a few short weeks. Then he started getting migraines so deciding to get it checked out, after some tests they found an aneurysm in the frontal lobe of his brain. After considering all the options with his surgeon, decided on a procedure referred to as a cork. On Thursday 1/11/24 they started the procedure. As they installed the cork in the aneurysm it pressed on another artery, so on to plan B. Remove the cork and install a stent and coil. As they removed the cork the aneurysm burst, which was quickly rectified and limited the brain bleed. However a clot formed on the stent and caused a stroke. Jeff was since brought into the ICU. We had the opportunity to speak with the surgeon and felt good about the recovery. It was going to take some time and serious therapy but the prognosis was good. About 10:00pm on Saturday 1/13/24 the amazing nurse noticed his responses were not good and going the other way. After bringing the neurologist in they found swelling of the brain and did another emergency surgery. As of right now he is not responding.
