Jeff McKee: Care After Heart Attack
Donation protected
On June 2nd, Jeff McKee, loving father, brother and friend suffered from a heart attack. Jeff was at work at the time of the incident and was given CPR and defibrillated five times. Jeff was rushed to the closest hospital immediately, where he has spent a few days in the ICU. Jeff is still in the hospital and his discharge is still currently unknown. Doctors have expressed that it is an absolute miracle that Jeff is alive after his event. Jeff is on the road to recovery however, it is long and uncertain. As his doctors have explained, him and his body have been through so much, as it was a near death experience. His family is in need of prayers and assistance in helping to pay for his ongoing medical care. Unfortunately, Jeff had just started a new job and does not currently have medical insurance. After this event, Jeff was newly diagnosed as a diabetic, which the doctors believe to have caused the heart attack. Jeff’s doctors have made it clear that he will need insulin for the rest of his life, which is extremely expensive. Jeff will also need numerous additional medications that are costly, as well as specialty care. The hope for this page is to help Jeff and his family with this massive financial burden and to ensure that he has the proper care and medications during his recovery. We appreciate all of your prayers and support thus far. Please continue to keep Jeff in your thoughts and prayers.
