Brett Walsh on behalf of Heather Mayden
Everyone who knows Jeff can attest to just how special a person he is. A great husband, fantastic father, true friend and respected co-worker. Jeff is known for being there for others, however, now he is in need of others to be there for him. Jeff returned home from a trip on Sunday, January 30th, complaining of symptoms of a sinus infection. Over the next week, these symptoms developed into a severe case of Covid Pneumonia and Jeff was admitted to Cox Branson Hospital. Jeff’s condition worsened and his wife, Heather, made the decision to airlift him to Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jeff is currently in the ICU on life support, ventilated and on an ECMO machine, receiving care which will hopefully help his lungs heal and enable his body to defeat the virus. Jeff’s situation is very serious. The process of recovering will be protracted and there will be many hurdles to overcome in the future. Please keep Jeff and the Mayden family in your prayers. I am setting up this Go Fund Me for Jeff because a situation like this can be financially devastating. Please join me in giving anything you feel you are able to. Whether significant or small, all donations will be greatly appreciated and go directly to help support the family during this difficult time and his future care and recovery. Let us all band together and alleviate some of the financial stress so the family can remain focused on Jeff’s recovery.
