Quinn Blue was loved by all  who had the chance to hear, play and experience music with him.  He was well known among the karaoke circuit, bands and many musicians around the Twin Cities metro.  I  (Jeff Loven) have known Quinn for decades and had the pleasure of playing music with him in the band NRG at Sharkeys every week back in the day. Quinn would also sing with me on many occasions at my solo shows.  I don't have to tell you about his passion for music and the way he would sing with such soul felt energy.  We had a running  saying that Quinn knew every song -lyrics included! On Sunday October 11, 2020 Quinn lost his battle with Covid-19.  We are all shocked and saddened by this sudden loss.  We have started this gofundme to help Quinn's partner Paulette along with Quinn's family in Detroit with final expenses.  This has been a tremendous hardship for Paulette with coordinating everything and we want to help. I think of the many times we heard Quinn sing songs like My Girl, Drift Away,  American Pie,  All Along The Watchtower and so many others. I will miss my friend, his sense of humor and his infectious smile.  Any amount to help is appreciated and I will personally see to it that funds are used properly-etc. We will plan a memorial event hopefully in spring once Covid settles down.  Friends, if you have questions feel free to contact me.
