Jeff Kruses Fight Against AML (Leukemia)
On June 28th, 2021 my uncle Jeff started treatment for AML (Acute myeloid leukemia) at the University of Iowa. Unfortunately, it is a very rare and aggressive form of leukemia. Acute myeloid leukemia is a type of blood cancer where excess of immature white blood cells or myeloid line of blood-forming cells is made by the bone marrow. Jeff has spent a month in the hospital thus far and will have spend several more weeks there in the near future. Depending on how things progress, he will possibly need a bone marrow transplant. The doctors are saying he will be off of work for at least 6 months or more. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and help Jeff & Lisa on this journey. It is a very difficult situation to face without the added stress of medical bills, gas for the frequent commute to and from the university, and the monthly bills that don't stop on a very limited income with Jeff not able to work. He has been a strong fighter with a positive attitude and with your help and prayers he will conquer this!
