Hello everyone! Jeff has asked me to reactivate this Fund Raiser. He says that "I just have no money to do stuff with. I have all kinds of appointments that cost me eight dollars round-trip for each appointment. My charger on the wheel chair broke that's going to cost me $60-$100 seems like everything is happening. Gets frustrating sometimes... I got to have a new pair shoes so that I can take one into the prosthesis to make the leg. Seems like a never ending process of the stuff I've got to do with no money to do it with."

William Johnson is a great friend to so many. His story of evolution from homelessness and addiction to a thriving life building bikes and helping others is an inspiration to all who know him. But now he is at the beginning of a different type of recovery. His ankle was shattered when he was hit by a car while riding his bike in Alameda. He is currently in a rehabilitation center and getting better with hard work. HIs awesome roommates are preparing their home to be ready when Jeff is released- they have already built a ramp and now they need to do some remodeling, get a better bed and make the place safe for him on his return - he will be in a wheelchair. Jeff has some medical insurance but there will be many expenses that it doesn't cover. And he won't be able to work for a while so will need to cover rent and bills for a while as well.

Please donate if you can and share with friends. Alameda friends, and friends of Bill W. are especially encouraged to pitch in whatever you can. Thanks so much, Jeff and his roomate family really appreciate it.

I'm honestly not sure how much his expenses will be, I have put my best estimate and I will amend it lower or higher as needed. Thanks so much for helping my friends.
