Jeff Hallinan needs life-saving surgery.  He has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure.  In order to live beyond 2-5 years, Jeff needs bariatric surgery.  This surgery is NOT covered by his student insurance despite being both medically necessary and life-saving.  He needs $25, 000 for the surgery alone.

Those of you who know Jeff know that he is a giving and caring person.  As his professor and as the honors coordinator during the time he attended San Jac,  I watched him give of himself to help other students each and every day.  Jeff is a gifted historian who has had to interupt his academic career because of his medical condition.  He is the father to son, Jared and daughter, Hailey.  They need him in their lives for a good, long time.  We all need him in our lives.  Please give any amount you can (even $5 helps).  Let us get him back on his feet and keep him in our lives.
