Jeff Foy Support Fund

This is Jessica, Jeff Foy’s daughter and I am reaching out because our charming die-hard Cubs fan needs our help. As you may or may not know Jeff has been suffering from seizures since the end of 2020. He has been in and out of the hospitals six times this year. Even with the unexpected trips to the hospital and countless tests, nothing was detected as to why he is having them. Now, due to the doctors’ orders, he can no longer drive limiting the number of jobs he is able to accept.

On Saturday November 6th, Jeff had a seizure at home. His wife Lily was able to aid him through the seizure. One month prior, Jeff had a seizure, fell on his shoulder, leaving it dislocated and fractured. His shoulder had re-dislocated during his seizure on the 6th, so Lily had to take him to the hospital to get it put back into place. While at the hospital, Jeff had another seizure in the waiting room. This landed him in the ICU due to not responding to the medications being administered. They had to sedate and intubate him. Jeff has been in the hospital since.

Because of this, he has been unable to work and will likely not be able to return anytime soon. Short term disability unfortunately does not provide full pay. Some of his medical expenses are not covered and with the everyday necessities of life, money is getting tighter and tighter. We are happy that he was able to come off the ventilator, but he still has a long road to recovery. This GoFundMe project is a way we can reach out show our love and support to Jeff to help make up for lost wages and alleviate stress for the current and upcoming mortgage, utilities and mounting medical bills.

From his wife Lily, Jeff is one of the strongest, most selfless people I have ever known and is always there to give his love and support or the shirt off his back to anyone that needs it. Now, it's time that we send back some of that love and support to Jeff. Anything you can donate will be truly appreciated.
