On Sunday morning, Jeff unexpectedly suffered a massive stroke and had a significant brain bleed. He was airlifted to a hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma where the doctors performed a procedure to clear the fluid and relieve the pressure so that the doctors could see how much damage was done before the possibility of surgery. The family agreed to do a procedure by his bedside that would relieve the pressure in his brain. If he woke up from that, he would be a great candidate for the surgery. If he didn’t, his chances of making through surgery were slim to none.

Unfortunately he didn’t wake up after the pressure was relieved and they were able to see the location of the brain bleed and the horrific damage that was done to his cerebellum. The days following were spent sitting next to him heartbroken and in disbelief knowing that they were spending their last moments with him.

It is with immense pain to announce that Jeff passed away early this morning, leaving behind his wife Michelle, his two sons Conrad and Lucas, daughter Ashlen, and his 3 grandsons.

Jeff was someone who was there for anyone at any time and never asked for anything in return. He was the rock of this family, the sole provider and the glue that held everything together for many outside of his family. His family is shocked and shattered by this loss and unfortunately was not financially prepared as this came without warning. They are soon going to be hit with an overwhelming amount of financial responsibility that comes after a loved one passes away. If you feel it in your heart to offer anything to help them lessen this burden so they can focus on grieving the loss of their father, husband, and pop pop it would be greatly appreciated.
