Jeff Baier Memorial Fund

Jeff left us unexpectedly on December 17 and even though he is gone he definitely will not be forgotten. I called Jeff the Mayor because anywhere we went he would know someone or make a new friend. Because of his big, kind heart he found the perfect job at the Westin in Lombard as Bell Captain, greeting guests and making sure they have everything they needed, it was exactly what he was meant to do.  He loved his family and loved his friends as if they were family. Even though the last 2 years were a major changed due to his loss of vision, he made the best of it by spoiling the dogs and cat. He tried to accomplish small projects around the house even if that meant slicing through our cable line not once but twice or spray painting his own face because he was holding the can the wrong way. In the end he was always able to laugh at himself and to make everyone else laughed too. He never took life seriously, had a weird sense of humor, loved everyone unconditionally and always saw the good in people.  

Because this was unexpected I am asking for any donations to help cover the cost of final arrangements. We will be having a Celebration of Life and info will be available as soon as everything is finalized.
