Jeff and Vicki Hestley Transplant Assistance Fund
Donation protected
As many of you know, Jeff Hestley was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma on January 30, 2021. During the last eight months, he has endured grueling chemotherapy and radiation treatments in preparation for a stem cell transplant. Last week, Jeff and Vicki received wonderful news - after waiting for so long, Jeff's numbers are on target to schedule the stem cell transplant at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The stem cell transplant procedure will require a 45 day stay where Jeff will be under daily medical care and observation. Things are moving quickly - Jeff and Vicki are scheduled to move in to their housing, near the Cancer Center, on October 11th and the first of several procedures will begin on October 12th.
So many friends and members of the community have asked how they can help the Hestley family... first and foremost, please lift them in your prayers. Please pray for Jeff's mental/physical strength and for his numbers to remain stable. Pray that Vicki, Caroline, Clay, and William will stay strong and vigilant as they stand beside Jeff as he fights this battle. Pray for the doctors and nurses that will be caring for our friend.
If you feel led to make a donation, the money collected will be used for housing and medical expenses that are incurred during the time Jeff is at Vanderbilt.
Also, an account has been set up at Citizens Bank and Trust of Arab in Jeff and Vicki Hestley's name if you would like to contribute using that option.
Thank you!
